I have a TaylorMade unit which was factory installed 10,000 BTU reverse cycle on a 2000 Sea Ray Amberjack.  The boat is used in New Jersey.  When commissioned the boat this spring the compressor unit tries to start but does not and kicks out the breaker.  My question is there are 2 capacitors on top of the compressor.  One black with a ground wire being jumped over to the other capacitor which I am assuming is a starter capacitor.  Is this true?  Would these going bad cause the issue i am experiencing?  Should I start my trouble shooting with replacing these capacitors or am I wasting my time.
