Cruisair WFAH16 Circa 1986---Serial 886HO45 --- Single Unit

It ran well till about 8 months ago, at that point it would take 1 or two attampts for the compressor to kick in when switching from Start To Run (i got to the point where i could hear if the compressor would kick in and could usually get it prior to the breaker going off) -- Once on --it ran perfectly.

Last fall  purchased: new Run Capacitor 4040135 new Start Capacitor 4040543 New Relay 4130150

Just installed the Run and Start Capacitor (NOT THE RELAY) two weeks ago -- unit started perfectly but hasnt run since... When i click on start --water flows perfectly but when i switch to run i can here the compressor make a faint clicking then the breaker goes off.... I replaced the relay and still same response.

My local cruiseair dealer says i could have damaged the new capacitor running it with the old (black) relay... any thoughts on that?

They (murphys law) are out of a new capacitors so they recomended I try a Hard Start Kit (Supco SPP6)-until a new one comes in -i hooked that up to the extra pins on the Capacitor (without altering the original wiring configuration) Still not coming on.....but would it assist if the Run Capacitor is damaged and/or should i have hooked it up any differently?

I dont mind if the compressor is truly gone I just find it odd that it would completely CraptheBed exactly when switching the Capacitors and Relay?  Like an idiot I threw out the old Capacitors once i had tested so i cant even switch back to test them.

I have two 30 amp circuits on the boat --1 dedicated to AC and 1 that is shared with the other AC elements and have tested both with the same result.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
