I am installing a self-contained unit on my Hughes Northstar 40.  It is a center cockpit design and I have chosen a Flagship Marine 18,500 BTU unit for the boat.  According to specs, this unit puts out around 880 CFM.  I am trying to find some reliable info regarding supply grill area requirements for a unit this size.  I would like to have supply air in the v-berth, salon and aft berth.  If possible I would also like to put small grilles in the fwd and aft heads.

My plan thus far is to locate the unit and a 14 x 14 return air in the salon with a 5" supply duct running forward, a 4" duct running upward and a 5" duct running aft.  The forward duct would serve a grille in the salon and reduce to 4" to serve the v-berth.  The upward running duct would supply a small grille at the aft end of the salon above the galley and the aft duct would supply the aft berth (with a possible reduction to 4" along the run since it is the longest one)  Along the way to the berths, I'd like to tap off into each head with a small supply if do-able.  Can anybody help me with square area and duct size recommendations?  Comments on my plan would be greatly appreciated.
