When i worked at Marine Air Systems i would charge up my pkg unit with 300-350psi of nitrogen with a solo hs gauge attached to one of the svc ports , roll it to paint, if it got to wiring below 300psi it came back to me. i refuse to molest a system with dye and i want to know where the leak is instantly so i go to 450-500psi and soap bubbles.

I have just had the a/c unit recharged as it was not blowing cold. Was told it was low and just needed the recharge. Week later blowing warm again. How can I check for a leak? Is there a dye that can be put in system? Thanks, Mason
