hello steve , I have 2 units in our boat 1 Marine air 16000 and 1 cruise air 5000. They are 1988. I acid flushed lastnight wit a contraption I made from a sub pump and some tubing. Before I did the flush , My cruisair was getting cold and sweaty at the compressor, but it was still blowing cold. The marineair units compressor is to hot to hold my hand on for more than 5 seconds and it does blow cold. i have gauges that iwas going to hook up tonight to record the readings. I did run them after the flush and the symptons are the same. I also cleaned the strainer and the air filters

Write down your pressures & get back to me…

But…The hot compressor is likely undercharged & the cold one overcharged (assuming good air flow & that the compressor matches the air handler btu)

Steve~
