Hi Steve,

Not far enough south. On the New Jersey coast after engine troubles offshore, and weather delays.  

When we stop I will take a close look at making the changes needed to fit the 12K unit.  I think I can enlarge the areas for the six inch ducting but also have to check the measurements of the new splitter, etc.

Be back in touch in about two weeks most likely.

I just wanted to conclude this long thread by mentioning that I ended up purchasing a Marine Air VTD12K-410 from Steve.  Pricing was very competitive and the new unit looks great!  Installation in progress.
