Alright, hooked the l1's and l2's together.  Ran her for about 7-8 minutes and we are getting nice cold air.  Can I run the unit like this for now to cool it a bit or is that hard on it?

Well I headed down to the boat tonight with the retro kit that I ordered from steve.  The new board actually fit right on the original mounts, replaced the passport II with the I/O display.  I was able to use my old cable actually which worked out wel because replacing that would be next to impossible.  I also ran some new insulated ducting straight to my 1st junction box.  I will need to order a Y eventually though but I can already tell the difference in air flow.  I also used 6'' hose clamps and now I have no leaks!
