Steve, I think I will try the shore water hook up. It is very simple to do and will establish a good positive flow to both units. You could be very spot on about the cal pump. I have a flow meter to measure water flow and when I have a chance I will test the pump. I'm starting to think(which is very dangerous thing for me to do) that I'm not seeing the proper stream of discharge that I had when the pump was new. It will be a couple of weeks before I can get back down, I will post results, I feel like somebody else might have this problem and will learn from our post. Thank you Steve.

Just to be clear…I don't think I would connect the garden to both units at the same time…Connect to the salon alone & run that unit to see if you have reduced amperage…

I don't know about your water pressure, but here I find that a typical garden hose will just keep up with a 500 GPH pump when putting that 500 pump in a 5 gallon bucket & replenishing the bucket with the hose…500 GPH would NOT be enough for both of your units.
