It also has power to the capacitor board but nothing coming out. when I turn it on the display (a tempwise se 2000) does its noemal startup reads 3.1 then d then 60 then turns off in about ten seconds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Morgan~

I'm not familiar with Aqua Air's Control model numbers so I went to their site to see what you had (they use Micro Air as their supplier for controls) Unfortunately that model is not on their site…They only go back to Tempwise 2001 so I'm assuming you have one of the older Micro Air controls…

Marine Air also used Micro Air for controls so I'm fairly familiar with their models (they just name them differently)

I would need a picture to know what you have and you can post one here, or if that does not go well you can send it the service@marine-ac.com

Before we go any further though…I have to ask the basic question first…

After the control goes thru the boot up and you are sure you still have power…What happens when you press the power button on the keypad ?

Most of those older controls required you press power to get the display to light after boot up…The newer ones remember what they were doing when power was lost & start back up in the same mode.

I'm afraid that if I'm correct in the control you have, and pressing the power button does not solve the problem…Your problem could be as simple as a bad Power button…But there are no parts available for the older controls, and you will be faced with doing a retrofit to a newer model control…It does not have to be a Aqua Air control…Our retrofits will work just as well and I have installed them on all brands…

Steve~
