Hi, I recently purchased a 1994 Sea Ray 330 Sundancer cruiser with a Marine Air Systems VHE12K-H AC/Heating unit.  The unit cools fine.  However, it makes an annoying rattling noise which sounds like is coming from the compressor.  Is this something that can be repaired inexpensively or does the compressor need to be replaced?  The local Marine Air technician told me that I need to replace the compressor which would cost me $1200.  Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement compressor for a better price or if the compressor is repaireable for less than the replacement cost?  Thanks in advance for your help.
