While checking over my 16k Marine Air Vector Compact, I found a silver spring-loaded screw hanging out from the top centre of the electrical box on the unit.  I screwed it back in and then realized that it may be a re-set button of some kind:  can somebody tell me what it is and if it should be tight or loose?

thanks

I know of no reset button…It sounds like the screw that holds the cover closed…

It has a spring that holds the screw so you dont loose it when it's unscrewed all the way…It should stay in its receptacle without falling out.
