Modulating sea water flow

I'm going to install a 2nd A/C in my boat.  I plan to increase the pump size and feed both units from the new pump.  The pump is located about 2 feet from the existing 12,000 btu A/C and will be about 15 feet away from the new 16,000 btu unit.   I understand that the normal way to do this is simply add a tee fitting to the sea water hose about equidistant between the 2 units.  This is doable but will present some installation hassle.  Is there another way to equalize sea water flow?  Reducing hose barb or some such?
