hey everybody when hooking up frig to 110 do i need a seperate switch between power braker ref?and the same?for the 12volt side?also when you are on 12 v and switch to shore power must the 12v supply be turned off  first?or will it switch automatic?the same?from switching from shore power to 12v thanks ps what size wire for 12v about 10 ft run? thanks again bcclew

Hi bcclew,

 

You don't need a switch between the breaker and the unit. All units should have a power switch on them. Check your manual. Some switch off by rotating the thermostat fully CCW to a detent.

Your unit will shift automatically between a/c or d/c. You should have the MAIN a/c or dc breakers off when connecting to or disconnecting from either source. you can leave the individual breakers for the Norcold unit on.

10 AWG multi-strand wire will be fine for that small load at that length.
