Greetings to all who seek information on this Marine AC Forum.
As many of you already know, my brother, Steve Pooler who operated this forum as a service to the marine Air Conditioning community and to DIY boat owners throughout the country for many years, passed away at the age of 53 on February 13, 2012.  
We all will miss Steve, especially his family, but I know that many of you depended upon his advise and council here and in other forums on the Internet. I have been attempting to find another Marine Refrigeration tech who is willing to try and fill Steve's shoes.  Finding a AC tech with Steve's knowledge and willingness to share same is not an easy task, but one that I think is worthy of the effort considering the benefit that Steve's work here has provided for so many.  
If you are a Marine AC Tech with considerable experience and you would like to try your hand at answering some of the questions raised here at Marine-AC.com on a daily basis, please contact me at the telephone number above.

For many of you who need an question answered, please search the history here on the forum, I know that would be one of Steve's first suggestions in the past as he did not have the time to answer the same question twice.  When I find a new Tech/moderator for Marine-AC.com I will try to get all of your questions answered promptly by that person. 
In the interest of getting you answers to your questions as quickly as possible…The below items can help with us not having to ask, and thus reduce the amount of posts to get to a point where we are on the same page…If you prefer not to post things like location in your profile…Please at least consider giving us water & air temps in your post… Though I have been doing this for quite some time…My Crystal Ball is only just so good….I keep rubbing it harder but…

* Again Location of the boat please…It helps to know the climate & temp water it sits in… * Brand of A/C and type of control (Digital or Manual) and brand of control (sometimes the control & unit brand don't match) * Type of A/C units ( Split System or Self Contained) * Age of system/s… * Boat Make, Length, and Model… * Factory A/C installation, or Added later…
